1. Our role and scope

Easigram operates Easigram. For the account information we collect to provide the Service, we act as the data controller. This policy applies to the Easigram website, account dashboard, hosted websites, support communications, and paid-plan administration.

If you publish personal data about visitors through a website you create with Easigram, you are responsible for deciding why and how that information is collected. You must provide your own appropriate privacy notice to those visitors and use the Service lawfully.

2. Personal data we collect

We collect the information you give us when you create or use an account, such as your name, email address, encrypted password credentials, workspace and website content, uploaded media, support messages, plan selection, and account settings. We also process limited technical and security information necessary to operate the Service, such as login and request information.

Payments are processed by Polar. We receive payment-status and subscription information needed to provide the selected plan, but we do not receive or store your full payment-card details.

3. How we use data

We use personal data to create and secure accounts, provide and host the Service, process plan access, respond to support requests, prevent fraud and misuse, meet legal obligations, and maintain and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal data.

We use personal data only where we have an appropriate basis to do so, including to perform our contract with you, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as security and service reliability, or obtain consent where required.

4. Service providers and transfers

We use carefully selected providers to process data on our behalf for functions such as payment processing, cloud hosting, content delivery and security, email delivery, and customer support. These may include Polar for payments and Cloudflare where its security and delivery services are enabled. Providers may process data in Mauritius or other countries where they operate.

We take reasonable steps to use providers and safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data and the transfer. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect rights and security, or in connection with a lawful business transfer.

5. Public content

Pages and media that you publish through Easigram may be visible to anyone who visits the relevant public website. Please do not publish confidential information or personal data unless you have a lawful reason and appropriate notice to do so.

6. Retention, account deletion, and export

We retain account and workspace data for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. When you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymise personal data that we no longer need, subject to lawful retention requirements and backups that are securely overwritten through normal retention cycles.

You may request a copy of available personal data and workspace content by contacting us. We will take reasonable steps to provide information in a commonly used format, while protecting the rights of other people and the security of the Service. In a planned closure, the separate Terms of Service explain our intended final export window.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or objection to certain processing of your personal data. You may also object to direct marketing at any time. We will consider and respond to requests as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity before acting.

Mauritius' Data Protection Act 2017 recognises that data subjects have rights and that data controllers must comply with data-protection principles when handling personal data. You may also have the right to contact the Mauritius Data Protection Office if you have concerns that we cannot resolve together.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you must also use a strong, unique password and protect your account credentials. Please contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

9. Children

Easigram is not directed to children. Do not create an account or provide personal data if you are below the minimum age required to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, unless a parent or legal guardian has authorised you to do so where permitted by law.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy when our data practices or legal obligations change. For material changes, we will give reasonable notice through the Service, by email, or both. For privacy requests or questions, email recenstudio@gmail.com.
